New look, and this week's show

You may have noticed this blog has a brand-new look. We hope you enjoy this design done by Madam Zach.

In tomorrow's show, we're discussing all things in online media. In what I like to term, a meta-discussion, we'll be talking through the ins and outs of new media, and the landscape that exists for us Australians.

We'll describe different ways of obtaining the news you're interested in, including the use of Google News, a couple of Aussie newspapers' online offering, and branching to the even newer onset of news delivery via podcasts and vodcasts.

We'll be taking a closer look at another Google product: Google Reader (for RSS feeds and processing). We'll also discuss the various media sources, their parent companies, and what side of politics they sway towards. And finally we'll give you some tips and advice on how to best utilise podcasts for shows you're interested in.
